Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam (Copycat Starbucks Recipe):

You know it’s the first signs of autumn when stores and coffee shops start selling pumpkin-flavored drinks and foods again. If you’re like me and love the fall season, then you have to start it off with a classic pumpkin spice drink.

Unfortunately, the Dunkin and Starbucks pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin cream cold foam do contain dairy. Which is no fun for us vegans and lactose-intolerant girlies. That’s why this recipe was created! We deserve to enjoy pumpkin spice deliciousness all season long, and this vegan pumpkin cold foam hit’s the spot and saves you money making it at home.

What is cold foam?

Starbucks serves a dairy-based cold foam, which is a super frothy topping for cold brew, iced coffee, and iced lattes that are made from frothed cold milk. It’ll float on top and slowly seep down into the iced drink.

Ingredients for Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam:

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée: I buy it canned because it’s easiest.
  • 3 tablespoons vegan heavy cream: Silk has a delicious one, and I recently discovered Country Crock came out with a vegan one as well.
  • 2 tablespoons plant milk (oat or soy)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free vanilla syrup: The Torani sugar-free vanilla syrup is what I used for this recipe.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice:  If you don’t have any, you can substitute it with cinnamon. To make your own pumpkin pie spice, mix together ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, and ground cloves.
