Orange Creamsicle Smoothie

Cooks in 5 minutes Difficulty Easy

If you are a fan of the classic Orange Creamsicle popsicle, then you will definitely love this smoothie! The sweet and tangy flavor of the frozen orange blends perfectly with the greek vanilla yogurt, creating a deliciously satisfying taste.

This Orange Creamsicle Smoothie is not only delicious but it’s also packed with nutrients that will keep you feeling healthy and energized all day long. Oranges are rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants that help boost your immune system and fight off illness. Yogurt is an excellent source of protein and calcium, which help support strong bones and muscles. And oat milk is a great dairy-free alternative that is low in calories and packed with vitamins and minerals.

One of the great things about this smoothie is that it’s so easy to make. All you need is a blender and a few simple ingredients, and you can whip up a delicious and nutritious smoothie in just a few minutes. This makes it a great option for a quick breakfast or a mid-day snack. Plus, it’s packed with nutrients that will keep you feeling healthy and energized.

Another great thing about this smoothie is that it’s very customizable. You can adjust the sweetness level to your liking by adding maple syrup or honey. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, you can add more ice or yogurt. The possibilities are endless!

Ingredients you’ll need to make your own Orange Creamsicle Smoothie:

  • 1/3 cup of frozen orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of vegan vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of Oat milk: Soy or almond milk would work.
  • 1 serving of Vanilla Protein Powder: My current favorite brand of vegan protein powder is the Ora Organic Vegan Protein Powder.
  • Dairy-free whipped cream on top (optional)

You will also need:

  • Blender: I use the Vitamix E310. It’s definitely an investment but completely worth the money because it’s just as amazing as the day I bought it 5 years ago! Before the Vitamix, I would use cheap lower-end blenders that would all break within a couple of months.
  • Cute Glass Straws: Totally optional but they make it look extra aesthetic! Plus I think smoothies and cold drinks taste better from a straw.

How to make an Orange Creamsicle Smoothie:

  1. To a blender, add the frozen OJ, vanilla greek yogurt, oat milk, and protein powder. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass. Top it with dairy-free whipped cream and orange zest.
  3. Enjoy!

Which Vanilla Protein Powder do I use?

I used to buy whatever protein powder was the cheapest, but then I realized not all of them have great ingredients. It’s important to pick a company that tests its protein powders and other supplements for heavy metals.

When I switch to a good protein powder it helped with my bloating, digestion, and skin. This one is made with clean ingredients and tastes great. All while being relatively affordable: Ora Organic Vegan Protein Powder (Vanilla).
