Description

Save your money and make this Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso at home! No syrups or espresso machine is required. It’s the ultimate caffeine boost any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 blonde espresso shots (or 1/2 cup of cold brew coffee)
  • 1/3 cup oat milk
  • Ice, for serving

You’ll Also Need:

Instructions

  1. Brown Sugar Syrup: In a microwave-safe bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of water, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave and stir until the brown sugar fully dissolves. Allow the syrup to cool down (it will thicken slightly).
  2. Espresso: Prepare 3 shots of espresso (or get out your cold brew coffee).
  3. Assembly: Add ice to your mason jar, and carefully pour in the brown sugar syrup and espresso shots (or cold brew). Screw the lid on tightly and shake it until frothy. Remove the lid and pour in your milk. Mix and enjoy!
